When Pete and Lucille Kuyper had an idea in 1925, they did not know that they would eventually become the leading innovators in the US. Their original idea was a window screen that rolled up and down and was similar to a shade. This innovation took the local area by storm and everyone wanted to know about it and have one.

The Kuyper family still owns the company and they hold true to their values. Their roots are firmly planted in the local NYC area and they continue to provide their customers with the best products at the most affordable prices. Pella Windows has completely transformed from a small company in 1925 into a leader of product technology and innovation.
